HANDMADE DECORATION SWAP | November Project

It is no secret that the big guy in the red suit will be making his way down your chimney next month and we have decided what better way to get you in the mood then to host a Handmade Christmas Decoration Swap for this month’s project.

Head on over here to sign up for the swap and then start collecting ideas and inspiration so that you can send a gorgeous piece of handmade goodness to your swap partner once they are announced.

We want to see what you make and send and, of course, what you get! Leave sneak peeks for your recipient by uploading it to the Creative Collective Flickr Group or the Facebook Page!

If you are a regular blogger be sure to stop by the Creative Collective Blog each Wednesday for our Creative Collective Link Love post where you can add your link and share sneak peeks of your goodies.

Remember, you can start getting ready now in time to send out when your swap partners are announced on or about 15 November 2011. We can’t wait to see what you all come up with!

CONDITIONS:

■ The swap is organised with the help of swapbot. You must be registered with the site to particpate. The swap is open to existing swappers with good ratings and new swappers alike. More details are available on the swap site.

■ You will need to enter the password CCDECSWAP to participate.

■ Because we like to support the handmade movement, all decorations sent MUST be handmade by you or bought from a handmade artist.

■ You will have one swap partner. The swap is open worldwide so you must be prepared to mail internationally.  Please keep this in mind when making your Handmade Christmas Decoration.

■ The swap opens today and sign-ups close on 15 November 2011. You then have until 30 November to send your Handmade Christmas Decoration. Feel free to send earlier, we want to see the flickr pool and facebook page filling with photos of gorgeous Handmade Christmas Decorations.

■ By submitting your photos to the Creative Collective Flickr Group you are agreeing to letting these images be used on other Blogs associated with this challenge.

■ All photos you submit to the Creative Collective Flickr Group must not have copyright restrictions. This will allow the Creative Collective Members to feature your images on their blogs.
